TOPIC : The cost of racism.

1 – Abstract: 75-175 words of a summary of your topic.

2 – Introduction: Explain the importance of the topic and your expectations of the outcomes. Explain the significance of the research and its value for you and the academic community.

3 – Review of the literature and methodology: A summarized review of previously published works—books, doctoral dissertations, masters theses and journal articles done on your topic and how what you are proposing to research is revealing or different.

4 – Research design: Explanation of the research model selected and why you will use it. Describe the data and methods of investigation. Also, explain the scope of your investigation.

5 – Research: Main body of the paper that describes the research conducted.

6 – Conclusion: Summation of significant sections of the research.

7 – Bibliography/Reference: Materials used to support your research. Materials used to support your research.

8 – 10 pages, (double-spaced), standard APA type size, margins and formatting and placed in your Research Journal (DO NOT ATTACH FILES TO JOURNALS). You may use a variety of resources but you must include two books and three journal articles. Journals (as opposed to magazines or newspapers) usually have the word “Journal” in the title). Primary sources will be used whenever possible such as legal statutes, diaries, newspapers, autobiographies and journals, etc. If researching legal opinions or laws specifically, you must locate and refer to that law or opinion, not just write about the law. There will be no spelling errors and few grammatical errors in the writings. PROOFREAD your work. NO BIOGRAPHIES!!
