Scenario

You and your classmates have completed a clinical rotation through a
facility that cares for individuals diagnosed with Turner Syndrome.
After this rotation, the instructor asks you to submit a care plan
describing how you, other nurses, and other disciplines worked to
address the needs of a newly admitted client to this facility.

Instructions

Include the following in your care plan.

• Provide details about the expected genetic and genomic assessment
  findings to include a discussion of the diagnostic testing process,
  including the timing of testing.
• Describe the ethical considerations for genetic testing while
  pointing out potential ethical dilemmas of care for this population.
• Reiterate pertinent ethical, theoretical foundations you would use to develop your plan of care.
• Generate a care plan that includes both intraprofessional and
  interprofessional strategies to meet the needs of this client
  population.
