Part 1:

  1. Choose 2 of the components of Integrated Fitness. Choose 2 from these 6: Flexibility, Cardiorespiratory, Core, Balance, Plyometric, Resistance. Using the principle of specificity, and the three types of specificity the body will respond to, design a 30 minute group exercise training and conditioning program for adults with low levels of physical literacy, and a chronic disease like obesity, hypertension, stroke, cancer, osteoporosis. (You can choose what motor skills are lacking from your adults, and inform us of the chronic disease present among your group).
  2. Present your brief lesson plan for the exercise training and conditioning program.

Part 2:

  1. How is your group exercise training and conditioning program going to improve your participant’s physical literacy?
  2. How is your group exercise training and conditioning program going to improve your participant’s physical fitness?

Will your group exercise program encourage your participants to become more physically active out side of class?
