- In ten-to-twelve meaningful, thoughtful, and grammatically correct sentences, briefly summarize the data you found interesting and then focus mainly on what you learned. Writing that the topic was about the voting ages of people is too general, please think deeper and let me know if you need help. I am looking to see that the topic you identified makes sense with the overall message of what your colleagues wrote about in their posts.
- Next, choose two key terms or theories from the glossary section of the Chapter 15 (at the end of the chapter in our textbook), read about the two key terms or theories within the chapter, and if you need more information, consult the lecture handouts and/or the sociological tutor (you can also contact me for help). In a few sentences per key term or theory, explain each of them in your own words. It’s ok that your work is not perfect, you are learning. I am looking to see that you have a basic understanding of the concepts.
- Finally, explain to the class in another few sentences, per key term or theory, and in your own words, how each one relates or applies to the one sociological topic you identified at the beginning of the paragraph. I am looking to see that you are able to apply key terms or theories that make sense with the topic you identified as the main theme.
