Decontamination Assignment

You are responding to an incident involving a DOT 412 transporting 3,500 gallons of 50% sodium hydroxide solution. The tractor and trailer have rolled over and are on their sides in the median of Interstate 68 near Mile Marker 15.The trailer is leaking around the Manhole Assembly. You must respond and assist with the repair of the Manhole Assembly, as well as, cleanup any of the material that has been released.

For this assignment, provide a detailed decontamination plan in response to this scenario.Include all the items needed for decontamination setup, a drawing showing a detailed layout of the decontamination area, a list of all decontamination solutions that will be used and why each one is appropriate.Your response must be typed in Times New Roman font size 12 with 1” margins.
