Format:
Your course project paper will be written in APA and should be between ten and fifteen pages
typed (excluding the title page, table of contents and references). It should include each of the
following sections:
1. Title Page
2. Table of Contents
3. Introduction
4. Scenario and description of dataset
5. Analyses of the data
6. Conclusion
7. References
The fourteen course project checkpoints will be the building blocks of your course project
paper. Each week, you will apply the specific statistical methods and R coding techniques that
were covered during that week to your course project dataset, and you will write a preliminary
evaluation of your course project dataset based on these methods.
Draft of Course Project Paper:
On Week 15 of DATA 5100, you will submit a preliminary draft of your course project paper,
with accompanying R code. In your draft you will have the opportunity to address any questions
or concerns that you have in reference to your paper. Your draft will be graded and returned to
you with feedback.
