- Examine how Graffiti art operates on axes of visibility/invisibility and public vs private space in relation to the city.
- Describe the paradox of destruction and re-creation in Graffiti Arts, as discussed by Doze and Chang (329-330). Apply this to an example.
- Discuss the function of “serious play” through a specific example and/or style of hip hop. Be specific. (Krumping, bboying/bgirling, popping, locking etc).
- Identify the role of “liminality” (Victor Turner) in the context of cyphering in any specific style of hip hop dance.
