Good evening classmates,

  1. I believe health care is a basic right that should be provided to all citizens and should not be a privilege that individuals must earn in our society. I believe each citizen has the basic right as an American citizen to have access to crisis medicine, preventative medicine or palliative care. The access to health care can end the isolation the socioeconomic status of many citizens experience. The racial and gender inequalities would seize with the access the healthcare while derivation amplification would minimize as well. The American Medical Association would have access to many marginalized communities. The universal access to health care can create a proactive community and empower the social institution to empower society. Health care is a valuable resource which should be shared. There should not a price tag to the life of a human being. The access to alternative medicine should also be allowed as a basic right in health care.
  2. The benefits of universal health care systems, from countries such as France, Germany, or Denmark, is the societies availability to access basic health care regardless of socioeconomic status. The benefits of having universal health care systems in a softy also allow countries to address the chronic disease pleading each community and provide healthcare to the neglected sectors within society. Communities and families who have been drowning from medical bills would no lower be in debt to the thousands of dollars paid to medical companies yearly. The medical services often denied to low income families would have access to life saving medicine and provided a basic quality of life usually denied in America. The expansion of health care would also expand the demand for medical health care workers. Many communities would have access to knowledge with the expansion of healthcare which can result in prevention of chronic diseases and lower risk of health complications. New health care policies would allow patients to decrease their risk of chronic diseases. The elimination of public and private health care would bridge the gap between the rich and the poor. Health care plans would value the health of patients. Universal health care would allow each human the basic right to access to medical services.
