Cuyamaca Marlow Characterization of His Voyage Aboard French Steamer Discussion

I’m working on a english question and need guidance to help me learn.

Option A: In this option, I would your perspectives on what was considered evil by Dante and people of his time. In particular, I’d like you all to discuss the levels of hell (use my mp4 as I only assigned 1 and 23 to read) and your readings of Canto I and XXIII and Download XXXIV. (If you are seeing this after I added XXXIV don’t worry – we won’t deduct any points) Do you agree with the rankings…especially the last level? If so, explain and if not,, please tell us why not. In many ways, Dante is bringing us back to the Greek and Roman tales we discussed earlier, but Christianizing those classics. I am really interested din your thoughts about this week’s readings, augmented by my lecture. Enjoy!

Option B: After reading a bit about and from Marlow, discuss the aspects of this play that relate to the evil of men and the evil of the Devil.

Option C: After reading a bit about and from Stroker on Vampires, and the PDF from Mod 11.1, what is evil about the vampire? How do they lure humans into evil? Why do you think humans constructed the idea of the evil dead? Does to serve a purpose other than entertainment — why are we so interested, fascinated, repelled but sometimes attracted to these creatures?
