1. You have to get the genre of your project. For example, poster, brochure, PowerPoint, video, etc.
2. Put into consideration that you are writing for students who are attending college as a first year.
3. Put into thought where will you publish your project? For example, Library, Front Desk, Financial Aid, Bulletin Board, etc.
4. Quality of your poster: You will have to talk about 3 main things that are important in your opinion that makes a student successful. For example,
1) Never Plagiarize
2) Ask for help
3) Priorities your deadlines for your subjects.

*Go into detail and give examples, and important tips about each of the 3 main successful tips.
4. Make it very meaningful but at the same time short because students don’t like to read long posters.
5. Include pictures for each tip, and make it a very eye-catching to the student.
7. It’s better to make a main tip, and then write bullet points under each one instead of a paragraph.
