Begin the planning process for the children in the video you watched in Week 7. A planned possibility is a plan created for the children by the teacher based on the observations made by the teacher. When using planned possibilities, you may not do all of the activities that are listed because the children’s interests may change. That is why it is called “planned possibilities”. It is possible that all activities could happen during the week, but it is also possible that the same activity can happen multiple times during the week.
Based on the video you watched of the children in Week 7. Please fill out the Planned Possibilities form that is at the bottom of this page. You will need to use the observations and objectives you created in Week 7 to complete this assignment. There are a few things to remember when completing your form.
- Do the activities I have planned meet the developmental needs of the children?
- Do the activities I have planned meet the objectives that I have brainstormed?
- Are the activities going to be fun and engaging to the children? (Remember, we should be planning activities based on the children’s interests.)
