I’m working on a criminal justice question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.

The Prompt: In the video, Justice Breyer states that one of the main problems is deciding “which view will lead to greater freedom for the electorate to change things”. Based upon the text and the argument made by Justice Scalia and Breyer, how would you answer this question? Use examples from the text and video to support your answer.

The Requirements:  It should be at least 150 words in length.

The Prompt: Over the past few years American law and society have undergone many changes. For example, laws and opinions concerning same-sex marriage, marijuana use and confederate statutes (to name a few) seem to be in flux. For this forum, I want you to select a social issue (you can use one of those listed above or select your own) in which public opinion is changing or has changed within the past few years and discuss what the impetus for that change is or was. You must support your opinion with at least 1 outside resource.

The Requirements: It should be at least 150 words in length.

Chapter 4 Discussion C

The Prompt: For this discussion you will need to reference the section of the text that discusses the different perspectives (theories) on lawmaking. Which of these theories do you think best describes America and why. Be sure to fully justify your opinion with examples.

The Requirements:  It should be at least 150 words in length.
