For the Peer Review for the Portfolio Project, I would like you to review the Milestone Papers for the following classmates:

1. Heath Andresen

2. Aimee Wilson

3. Robert Kish

I’ve attempted to distribute the names so that each of you will receive feedback on your Portfolio Project. You can download these from the Module 4 Discussion Forum.

To meet the requirements of the Module 4 Peer Review for Portfolio Project rubric, I will be looking at the quality of your feedback to your classmates. Each of the three reviews will be graded separately.

As you consider your feedback, you want to consider the four topic areas in the Module 3 Milestone paper rubric: requirements, specification of topic, content, & organization/grammar/style.

I imagine at this point you are asking yourself – how does this help me? Below are questions that you can ask yourself as you read your classmate’s Project Milestone paper.

  • Is the topic well defined? If not, what additional information would you recommend that your classmate explore so that the topic is better defined?
  • Are there topic areas that you suggest should be expanded upon or included in their final project paper?
  • What suggestions do you have for background information that should be included?
  • Are there questions that you would recommend that your classmate ask of the expert to be interviewed as part of the project?
  • In terms of the action project, what data would you suggest that your classmate include in their project to show the impact that the activity had on helping the species or natural area?
  • Could the threat to the species or natural area be better described? If so, what information would be helpful for the reader to know?
  • At this point, I’d guess that your next question related to HOW should you submit this feedback.

  • You will submit your feedback to the “Peer Review for Portfolio Project” drop box. I will be distributing the submitted feedback to each of you.
  • You can provide the feedback in the body of the paper as a comment OR it can be a separate word document where you list your questions and suggestions.
  • I would prefer that you submit the feedback as separate documents for each of Milestone papers you review. It will make it easier for me to distribute. If you submit as individual documents, you will need to submit each of these as separate submissions in the dropbox.
  • At the beginning of Module 5, I will download all of the submitted feedback and distribute it to each of you.
