In the previous assignment (Assignment 3), you created a website. In this assignment, you are creating a regular email campaign which is a marketing message that you share through email (MailChimp). The tutorial to do this will be at this link. You will develop an e-mail list for use in your MailChimp campaign. In your email message, in addition to announcing the launch of your website, you will be sharing the URL.

In your submission, you will be providing a Word Document with a screenshot of your email for your email campaign and email analytics such as number of clicks, opens, click-through URL, bounces, forwards etc. (The document should be no more than 2 pages).

List Development tips:

  • Start with friends and family (send a single bulk e-mail to them asking their permission)
  • Add e-mail addresses of those who are OK with it to the MailChimp campaign list
  • Execute the campaign! A reasonable number of e-mail addresses is 30-40.

Your submission should cover:

  • What did you do? In other words, explain the steps you took following the assignment instructions.
  • What was the outcome? Show us with a snapshot of the result from following the assignment instructions
  • What did you learn/take away from completing the assignment
