The research paper should examine one of the topics covered in the course and should integrate the course readings and lectures on the subject, as well as at least four outside scholarly references. The papers should be original research, about 2500 words in length (about 10 pages, double-spaced).
The research question and thesis statement that should be used for this paper can be found in the document titled “SOC 315 Outline for Research Paper.” The thesis statement and research question have already been approved by my professor and are expected by her to stay the same going into this final draft. There are a list of references and explanations on the file titled “SOC 315 Annotated Bibliography” and hopefully you will be able to use some of these sources while doing some research for this paper. It is ok to use some sources that are not listed in these files but try to stray away from wikipedia. The direction that this paper is supposed to be going in is laid out throughout the 2 files that are attached, so please try to keep going in the direction that I have been discussing throughout the attached files.
