Covid-19 had created some issues in every aspect of life, sports specifically has changed. You are the Director of Athletics for Disney University.
1. You decided that you will hold fall volleyball, but your top two players have opted out of competition because of Covid fears. Will you compete without your top two players. Why or Why not?
2. Since you created your budget in April anticipating an end to Covid by now, you were counting on football revenue and you were expecting student fees to remain the same. However, your conference announced that there will be no football this fall and enrollment is down 15 percent. This means that you will have $500,000 less money from football and $250,000 less money from student fees. How will you make up the difference in the lost revenue so that the remainder of your sports teams do not suffer.
