Country climate/culture overview learnings (Ireland)

– Country Culture – This assignment will have the student research and report on
the cultural nuances of the country they selected. Using the United States as their comparison,

they will compare and contrast the culture of their selected country to that of the united states.
This assignment will build on the data collected in the first assignment, and will require the
student to begin focusing in on the key topics that they find make their country unique. They
will then compare and contrast to the US and can use tools such as the Kofstede dimensions
and/or other research to aid in their examination of the countries. Topic areas such as political systems, financial systems, religions, foods, educational
systems/levels/expectations may be examined. The student may wish to examine the
Kluckhohn and Strodtbeck dimensions as well. The paper will be at least 2500 words in length. 3 or more sources should be used.
