What are the 5S?
Relate this to some area of personal responsibility for example, room in the house, workshop, athletic area for an athlete or team, or even a Midland classroom. Apply 5S and take photographs of the before and after situation that demonstrates at least one of the S’s.
Why would a new or existing company apply this activity?
Here is a simple exercise. Walk through a store of your choice, or work area, maybe a grocery store. Observe how each S is exercised and see if you can spot an opportunity for them.
