- The relationship focus of this paper should be clear. If you are focusing on a relationship with a particular other, please explain the nature and background of the relationship. If this paper is a self analysis, please give some description regarding the kind of person you know yourself to be.
- Use concepts and/or theories from Interpersonal Communication: Everyday Encounters to analyze the relationship identified in this paper. I encourage you to focus in a singlechapter for this analysis. For example, if you are analyzing your relationship with your romantic partner, incorporate concepts from the listening chapter, or language chapter, or conflict chapter, or committed romantic relationships chapter, etc. (This may require you to read ahead in your text). If your paper is a self analysis, be sure to incorporate concepts from Chapter 2, “Communication and Personal Identity.”
