1:Annotated bibliography and tentative topic outline for The Narcissism Epidemic research paper
PART 1 of your assignment—annotated bibliography
Compile and format at least three (3) high quality research sources into an MLA works cited list with annotations (a brief summary & a statement of how each source will assist you in your essay). See pp. 386-390 in Rules for Writers, 9th ed.
The annotated bibliography requires that you type up the MLA citation for each source (see pp. 429-463 in Rules, 9th) as well as include 4-5 sentences in your own words that summarize the main points of each source and another 4-5 sentences to explain how each source will figure into your research essay .
See p 466 in Rules for Writers, 9th (“Preparing the List of Works Cited”) for how to type and format your bibliography page. Also see the sample works cited pages on pp. 475-476 (which accompanies the sample research paper).
2:PART 2 of your assignment—brief outline of your symptoms
Offer your focused topic for the paper ,such as narcissism and social media or narcissism and professional athletes, etc.). Then offer your list of 4-5 symptoms of narcissism that go along with this focus. Insert the name of your sources under the symptom they will help you to develop in your essay. Don’t forget that you will be drawing most of your support from Twenge and Campbell’s book but that you will be supplementing your research with three new sources obtained on the library databases.
Follow this format when you type up your outline:
