Consider the five benefits of maintaining inventory in a healthcare supply chain and provide an example of how this can make a difference in your current organization. What distinguishes inventory from a supply? Describe vendor-managed inventory. Please identify an organization or department and discuss factors influencing decisions regarding inventory such as logistics, cost, limited resources, and necessity.
