1. Compare and contrast first case study of
Jerry Harkenell in Chapter 6 with the last case study the last case study about
Katie Jordan. Describe and explain each scheme used. How were the schemes
different? Similar?
2. Briefly describe the two case frauds in
Chapter 7 – Marcus Lane and Cy Chesterly (what they did, how they did it, etc.)
Did management “allow” the frauds to happen? Explain why or why not.
3. Briefly describe the two case frauds in
Chapter 8 – Bob Walker and Joe Anderson (what they did, how they did it, etc.)
How did “other people” participate in both these frauds either as motivators or
participants?
4. What happened to each fraudster in these
six cases? Do you see any similarities with prior cases we have read this
semester? Explain.
