After finishing University and get my bachelor’s degree I will be trying to get a job in one of these three places (Chaldean and Middle Eastern Social Services, Public Consulting Group (PCG), and Grossmont Adult school) because they are compatible with my studies or close to my major and my work experience.

- The benefits package (401K, health insurance, profit sharing) for employees.
- 1-Chaldean-Middle Eastern Social Services (CMSS) is a part of San Ysidro Health Center. CMSS offers multiple services to all refugees from the Middle East. These services include acculturation and assimilation, translation/interpretation, citizenship/naturalization workshops, employment assistance, job training, education/career planning, college enrollment, and financial aid application assistance, safety education, youth education, referrals to additional medical specialists, and community resources. Weekly food distributions are also available.
- 2-Public Consulting Group (PCG) provides CalWORKs Welfare to Work and Refugee Employment Services to CalWORKs families in the East, South, and Central regions of San Diego County. PCG is working with the San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) to continue to offer necessary services for CalWORKs Welfare to Work and Refugee Employment Services clients.
- 3-Grossmont Adult Education (GAE) has been the number one adult education provider in San Diego’s East County since 1946. At four main campuses and more than 100 sites, GAE offers classes and programs in English as a second language, medical and other technical careers, Basic, Secondary and Lifelong Education. All its classes are free and support students in getting career-ready. Grossmont Adult Education offers vital career-developing and career-transition classes preparing students for entry-level jobs or transitions to advanced training or certifications at the community colleges.
Because of speaking four languages (Arabic, Chaldean, Kurdish, and English), I worked
in this association for more than one year as a volunteer and then as an ambassador
for Grossmont College to help new students who want to apply to study in it, in
addition to being the supervisor of food distribution.
It understands that CalWORKs participants will have a lot of questions related to their case, their participation requirements, and their support services.
