I’m trying to study for my Sociology course and I need some help to understand this question.
As we start to look at Race, Gender and Class in America; I would like you to stop and think about what these terms mean to you and how who you are plays into these terms.

Intersectionality are different parts and experiences that make us who we are.
- For example: I am a single, heterosexual Caucasian woman who is raising a teenage interracial male. Not only am I a mother, but an adjunct professor and advisor in higher education.
- I also have Attention Deficit Disorder, Anxiety and depression.]
- I grew up in Connecticut, but moved to Mississippi to attend Mississippi State University in my late teen/early twenties.
- Al of these descriptions are just a part of who I am but do not define me as well.
