What is the appropriate way for journalists to have reported on the Hillary Clinton email controversy in 2016?

In developing your essay, be sure to

a) briefly summarize the case,

b) identify competing arguments regarding what constitutes ‘appropriate’ use of these emails,

c) apply at least two ethical frameworks from class to understand the issue, and d) explain and defend your own position on the matter.(Materials are attached below)

Finally, please be sure to appropriately cite any class readings or lectures. You may choose the citation style (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago); just be consistent in using it. The essay should be between 750 to 1000 words, with an upper limit of 1100 words.
