Student post down below:(Joan 2)

One real-world program that I would like to concentrate within in my organization, would be Challenges and Opportunities in the Global Mental Health Field. Globally, the

the majority of those who need mental health care worldwide lack access to high-quality mental health services. Stigma, human resource shortages, fragmented service delivery models, and lack of research capacity for implementation and policy change contribute to the current mental health treatment gap. The agency that I found in every county is called Mental Health Association. I currently started a position as a Community Engagement and Social Program Supervisor and so far, it’s a lot because of the lack of staff, training, and implementation and how this field in general lacks so much support. When it comes to Riverbend Community I will be concentrating on Homelessness and the lack of services for these individuals, as there is a lack the funding, but also support for their mental health and medical care. As you look a Riverbend City and Mental Health Association of Orange County, I can see that these both have similarities and engagement within both populations.
