Paper 3 – Presentation – Directions – Online Class

You will create a presentation of your Paper 3 for the rest of the class to view. When your presentation is done, please provide a link to it in the “Paper 3 Presentation” discussion board in the current module. You will also see an example of what I’m looking for in the current module. Each slide should have a high-quality image (please no clip art) and very little text. You do not have to have any audio…it is merely a slideshow that gives presents an overview of where your paper is going.

Here are the presentation requirements:

Slide #1 – Artifact 1
Slide #2 – Artifact 2
Slide #3 – Topic and both sides of the argument
Slide #4 – Your argument
Slide #5 – Argumentative Point 1 (one sentence only)
Slide #6 – Argumentative Point 2 (one sentence only)
Slide #7 – Argumentative Point 3 (one sentence only)
Slide #8 – Refutation (Some people say … , but I argue…)
Slide #9 – Concluding example (or a third artifact)
Slide #10 – Works Cited for images (links only)

I recommend Google Slides for your presentation (make sure it is viewable though…click the blue Share button). Just remember: when your presentation is done, please add a link to it in the “Paper 3 Presentation” discussion board (see current module). To make your link clickable, you just need to click the space bar after pasting it in to your post. (If that doesn’t work, paste the link into your post, highlight the link, and use the link icon—it looks like a chain).Share an update on your progress so far on Paper 3. You can discuss your artifacts, your research, your writing process, or anything else that is relevant. Please feel free to ask questions for your classmates to help provide feedback. By now you should have all your artifacts, all your research, and have started drafting the essay. You should have also gotten feedback from me on your argument (from your ARP Planning Document). Of course, if you not caught up, that’s ok. Just share where you are and ask for advice from your peers! Basically, share where you are in the process to get advice.
