For this assignment, you are to refer to the notes I attached below, where it discusses Piaget, and Vygotsky’s framework and reflect upon what elements have influenced your very own beliefs and values. For instance, Piaget discussed egocentrism, which is the “inability to distinguish between one’s own perspective and someone else’s perspective.” To that end, if I told you that White privilege is in fact real, would you be able to take on my perspective, or not? If you are unable to accept my worldview, please explain why, in great detail. Tell me, why you think what you think? What has shaped your influence of the world?
