This project requires you to use Photoshop composite techniques to create a multi-layer image that “realistically” places you (or someone else IF you strongly object in using your own photograph) in a significant event in history. (I have both photo’s added that will be used).

ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Please complete the following tasks:
1. Select a historical event. (Muhammad Ali photo)
2. Find a photograph of the historical event. (Has been attached)
3. Take a photo of yourself or use an existing photo. (Also has been attached.)
4. Use compositing techniques to successfully blend your photo into the historical photo so that it appears realistic and seamless.
5. Create layers for different elements in the design. The layers should be kept in the PSD file. Please do not merge layers before submitting your composition. Document Setup

Width: 5 inches
Height: 7 inches
Resolution: 300 Pixels/Inch
Page Orientation: Portrait (Tall)
Color Mode: CMYK

Submission requirements:

1. The completed Photoshop (.PSD) file. PLEASE do not merge the layers together!
2. A JPEG (.JPG) version of the completed project.

3. What Photoshop techniques (e.g. layers, blending, etc) did you use to create your composition (describe what you did to complete the assignment)?

4. What software applications did you use to complete your project?
5. What issues or challenges did you face completing this project?
