- Present a narrative that aligns with your proposed interpretive frame for the case. (See Rieke & Stutman, pp. 46-50 download& 93-103 download.)
- Describe the information your team will eventually present in the trial, which may include the testimony of particular witness and facts demonstrated in exhibits (see Rieke and Stutman, pp. 92-93 download[“Information Versus Argumentation“].)
Your submission should include:
- Part I. A word-processed document that is either (1) a comprehensive outline or (2) an full manuscript of your proposed opening statement.
- Part II. An separate section–or document–that reflects on reasons for at least two rhetorical choices you made in the statement (see earlier guidelines for this part of the assignment).
- An audio or video recording (submitted by Wednesday, May 12, either as a file or private YouTube link).
