I CHOOSE CLIMATE CHANGE AS MY ISSUE
You have chosen a community issue to research for your Circular Flow Project. For this honors assignment, explore an environmental issue that your community or country is facing. Consider a challenge that has resulted in externalities affecting you and your local area. Choose an issue that you feel strongly about, and consider how the issue relates to poverty.

How can you spread the word or encourage action for your issue? Your goal is to encourage others to join with you in your concern and convince them to act now to improve lives affected by the issue you chose.
Step Two: Create your presentation
Choose a format to create and present your awareness-raising campaign.
- Write a letter to a newspaper editor. (!!!!!!!!!)
- Create a blog.
- Contact government leaders.
For additional ideas, discuss possibilities with your instructor. There are many 21st century tools available for effective collaboration and communication in the online environment. For more information about tools your school recommends, please visit the resource tools area in your course or contact your instructor.
Make sure that you address these questions in your awareness presentation:
- What is the issue?
- What externalities does the issue raise?
- How is the issue connected to poverty?
- What helpful action can your viewers take?
