You should pick a chapter or topic that you find particularly interesting and wish to explore in depth. You might also pick a particular subject or theme that runs throughout the humanities. Like the influence of a specific art movement, or the impact of modern architecture or the effects of impressionism or individual Artists like Warhol, Pollock, etc…
My topic/theme is art of eternity.
An Introduction
You have to start off you paper with an introduction or a thesis. Tell me what your paper will be about and what you hope to explain in the body of the paper. You can even open with a question that you will attempt to answer in the paper.
An Analysis
Here you have to explain the book or topic you are discussing. Depending on your thesis or opening question you will either prove your perspective or disprove an opposing one. Also, this is the place to cite books to reinforce your thesis. You may use other sources for the paper but please clear them with me first.
A Conclusion
Finally you must have a conclusion. Please do not abruptly end your paper at 5 pages. You have to sum up whether or not your have answered the question posed at the beginning of the paper. And/or sum up the paper at the end reiterating your thesis and explaining what you learned from the process.
Your paper MUST be typed in 12 POINT TIMES NEW ROMAN FONT
Must be DOUBLE SPACED, must have 1 INCH MARGINS all round, must be ON TIME, STAPELED, have a title, must NOT have any extra space between the paragraphs or at the top of the page
