I’m working on a cyber security writing question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.
1.Research current, popular anti-virus products. Pick three (3) and discuss — include their background history, any distinguishing features (that separate them from the others), costs associated, etc. Be sure to include links to each products website in your answer.
2.Research other useful security programs, such as personal firewalls, VPNs, anti-malware, etc., that are currently available. It is very possible that these may be included in a security suite, along with one of the anti-virus products you covered in #1. Pick three (3) and explain why a user might want to install these, along with an antivirus software. Be sure to include links to each products website in your answer.
3.Examine your own system’s security status. Document, including screenshots, the following:
a.Is your Operating System up to date? If not, when was the last time that it was updated?
b.What anti-virus are you running? Is it a standalone or part of a security suite? When was the last time that it was updated? When was the last time that a system scan was completed?
