you need to choose one industry ( could be sport apparel, cosmetic, grocery, food, alcohol,..) and apply Porter – 5 forces model that i attached the picture of this model.
One of the most commonly used approaches to strategy was developed by Michael Porter. We introduced this concept in class. The attached diagram depicts the five forces. One common confusion is the “substitutes.” Substitutes are not competitors (that is in the rivalry in the center). For example, there is quite a bit of rivalry in the Wine industry. A substitute here might be beer, hard liquor, non-alcoholic beverages, making your own wine, and so on.
We will form groups of five for the presentation. For this assignment provide the industry AND include an example for each force.
