Child development Create your Own Checklist

For this exercise consider what types of behaviors you are likely to catch during ONE particular timeframe (based on daily routines set-out in this schedule) using the schedule below. DO NOT SELECT MORE THAN ONE – just one.

Create a checklist keeping in mind the context and likely behaviors you are expecting to be able to observe during that specific time-frame and location(setting).

You must Create your checklist using Columns, Rows, etc. You can use Microsoft Word to create rows and at least two columns. If you don’t know how to create rows/columns see this tutorial: Link (Links to an external site.)Insert Table in Word Document

Workplaces are asking that workers have proficiency in creating documents so this will help you learn how to do that!

The Checklist must include : static descriptors (for a specific age of your choice 3, 4, or 5 years old), include all 3-4 domains and a minimum of at least 4 behaviors written broadly so you are likely to catch them.

for example

Behaviors

Social

  • Child plays parallel to another child
  • aldkfj
  • aldfj
  • aldfjk

Emotional

  • Child expresses joy with laughter, giggles, smiles
  • lakdfj
  • alsdkfj
  • asdlfkj

Physical

  • ;alkd
  • a;kdlfj
  • aldfjk
  • al;kd

Actions

And so on, however, you must create the above-using rows and at least one column that will allow for the checkmark if the behavior occurs.
