Go to Enforcement Actions: Criminal and Civil.  Pick a case addressed in the last five years involving healthcare fraud.  Post a 4 to 5 full paragraph summary of the case. Then add a paragraph telling us what guidance the case offers in your present or future employment.

Part C: Compliance Plans 

Pick one of the statutes addressed in this week’s lectures. Address how it relates to medical institutions. Do not include a copy of the entire statute. Your analysis and understanding are important.

Using the Compliance Plan Recommendations (contained in this week’s Lecture # 1), present a detailed analysis of how a hospital could implement compliance with that particular statute. Provide examples of how a hospital could identify wrongful behaviors under each element.
