Based on your learning in this course, what is your view of counseling now compared to your views on counseling at the beginning of this course? How do you believe that people change/grow through this new lens of counseling and from what you’ve learned in the course?
This paper will be an exploration into the nature of your own personal values about counseling and your own experience and views of counseling as a profession after completing this course. Based on what you now know of theoretical paradigms, what do you believe causes dysfunction, and how do you think people change? How do you view counseling? How is it viewed by society, by your family (and how have their views affected you)? Additionally, what are your professional goals (do not have to be related to counseling!), and what information from this course will you take with you as you move forward on your professional path?
This paper should be a minimum of 5 full double-spaced pages (but no more than 7). Must be written utilizing APA format (including cover page and references, no abstract; the cover page and references do NOT count as part of the page count).
