Team,

When I
think about the term, “motivation,” I think one of the best real-world
examples that will resonate with you right away, if you follow sports,
is my beloved 2016 NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers! Truthfully, I was
very happy for them because I noticed some very key differences with
their team the year that they won the championship:

undefined

1. They played as a true team.

undefined

2. They trusted each other and had a great sense of camaraderie.

undefined

3. They could shoot long-range jumpers and were unafraid to charge the lane to score up close.

undefined

4. They were very supportive of each other.

undefined

5. They looked like they were having fun.

undefined

6. They didn’t argue and point fingers when problems occurred on the floor. Instead, they discussed ways to improve.

undefined

7. More than one person shot well for the team, so there was less pressure on LeBron James.

undefined

8. They were not easily intimidated by the other teams, no matter their opponents’ sizes, skill levels or reputations.

undefined

Based
on your True Colors Personality quiz results, you should be better
equipped to create this type of environment in your respective
organizations.

undefined

What
are your thoughts on motivation? What elements do you notice in your
companies? How do your managers motivate you all to perform well?

undefined

I look forward to our lively discussions
