Discussion Three-Mental Health
Mental health is an area of health care that is often not on parity (similar amount of insurance coverage) as wellness or the treatment of physical conditions. Mental health is often not accessible due to lack of providers, placement of offices or providers not taking certain insurances.
In this discussion, please read and share an article that discusses the issues with the American mental health system, thoughts on what can be done and impact on our population with a fragmented and disparate system.
