The purpose of the assignment is threefold:First: to provide you an opportunity to acquaint yourself with a variety of quality children’s books and to provide a system whereby you can collect and organize your selection of quality books. The focus of the course is young children: infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.Second: this notebook provides an opportunity to search the Internet for web resource for children’s literacy development.Third: it is a chance to analyze and reflect on what you have learned from handouts and articles you have received during the semester.The physical presentation is an important component of this project and is a part of your grade. Students must compile information in a three-ring notebook. The work must be neat, well organized, typed and of a professional quality such, that you would be proud to share it with others. There must a “Table of Contents” and dividers for each section.
