Socio-historical CONTEXT Paragraph:
This will be an analysis of your chosen media, static/still or dynamic/moving, and will be one paragraph long.
Sociological context refers to the knowledge needed for understanding of the commentary on the issue and/or background needed to understand the message of the graphic’s topic/message.
Historical context is the social, political, cultural, economic, and environmental situations that influence the events or trends we see happen during that time. Therefore, if the audience is unfamiliar with the traditions, culture, thinking, events, or issue happening at any time in history, they could misinterpret or lose the meaning of a piece of writing they are reading.
