Here are the guidelines posted by my professor and the prompt. I do not necessarily need a sample draft i just need the actual essay completed and polished please.
In the Parable Series, Lauren embraces God as Change, and adds that we must change and embrace diversity, or be destroyed. Her long lost brother, for his own reasons, embraces God as Non-Changing, seeks to return to a fictional Christian American past, and actively converts or chastises non-believers. What is Butler trying to tell us about our current cultural moment and possible future trajectories? Keep in mind that our current moment was Butler’s future.
This paper should be a minimum of 3 pages, single-spaced, with one-inch margins, written using Times New Roman 12 pt. font. All text should be left-justified, except for your title, which should be centered. Your title should reflect your content. There should be no extra spaces between lines anywhere.
No Works Cited page is needed or wanted. Contain all citations within the body of your text. When you summarize, paraphrase, or quote, introduce such with an introductory clause. Write something like: “In Fledgling, Butler takes us to special places in the Northwest. The lead character, Shori, says about these places, “they have great blood sausage there” (893). Of course, it will help if you are actually quoting from the book, which I have not done here. I do hope you get my point.
