The goal of the final presentation is to show mastery of the concepts reviewed throughout the course – with an emphasis on Google Analytics using the Demo Account for the Merchandising Store.
The deliverables for this project are as follows:
- 10 slides and 10 minutes presentation and 5 minutes for Q/A. Total of 15 minute block per presentation.
- A set of 4-6 business questions related to the Merchandise store that you want to answer with your data.
- A list of dimensions and measures that support answering your business questions along with your data definitions.
- A KPI dashboard containing 4-6 KPI’s that tell the high-level story about the business questions you choose to answer. Feel free to create your own dashboard, or use the dashboarding feature in Google Analytics, or use Google Data Studio or whatever tool you would like to use (such as Tableau).
- An analytical presentation that answers each of your business questions based on your data analysis, including one data visualization per answer.
You may want to frame your final presentation like this using as many slides as necessary:
- Project goals and objectives.
- Identification of the business questions and/or business problem statement & the analytics problem solution.
- Details of data collection and identification of relevant data & relationships based on the dimensions and measures in Google Analytics, and refinement of the business and analytics problem.
- Answers to your business questions – solidly backed-up by the data in the Google Analytics Demo Account.
- Future scenarios that you feel are relevant to your business questions.
- KPI Dashboard review.
- Conclusion, which identifies the value of the applied business analytics, the KPIs, the dashboards, and recommendations for the implementation of the future scenarios.
