Write a Career Assessment Report
, 6-10 pages, double-spaced, in APA, 7th edition style, that describes the results of the personality and career assessments completed in Section A. In the Report, (a) identify, synthesize, and describe assessment tools and resources used and the results obtained and (b) relate and integrate the assessment information, career choices, and your life experiences in a summary section that describes future career decisions, goals, and plans. The Report will also include (c) a detailed description of two occupations) suggested by the results of the assessments completed. The research on the two occupations or career pathways will be conducted using online resources such as O*Net (Links to an external site.)and/or Florida Shines (Links to an external site.), and the Occupational Outlook Handbook“>Occupational Outlook Handbook (Links to an external site.).
The occupational descriptions must include the following: (a) DOT code and definition of the occupation according to O*Net, (b) Identification of the industry or career cluster in which the occupation is found, (c) Description of the education and training needed for the occupation, (d) Description of the nature of the work, places of employment, earnings, and working conditions, (e) Description of the physical demands (e.g., lifting, standing, sitting, carrying etc.) of the occupation, (f) Description of the employment outlook for the occupations, and (g) Description of related professional development activities related to the occupations (e.g., continuing education, in-service training, workshop and conference attendance).
