A key factor to doing well on your contemporary issues project will be incorporating significant additional content, concepts, research and examples from multiple sources into your presentation. Examples follow:

- Industry research: Use appropriate resources to add depth and perspective to your presentation.
- Research on external trends.
- Examples of your topic/concept in action at real companies. In addition to online searches for this content, be sure to check Ad Age.
- Scholarly Research: article from peer reviewed marketing journal. Examples of these include: Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Behavior, Harvard Business Review, California Management Journal. Articles assigned for course readings may also be referenced, but to lesser net effect than research new to the class.
- Consultant Research: Discussion /application of key concepts from well known consulting companies such as: McKinsey, Deloitte Consulting, Nielsen, Bain, etc.
