I’m trying to learn for my Management class and I’m stuck. Can you help?
1) Why it is important for the managers to possess highly directive style of management in handling employees who experiences performance problem such as low motivation and job satisfaction?
2) . During a project, an employee failed to do his task which resulted to the delay of the submission. The project head talked to the employee and gave warning for his actions. Months passed, a meeting was conducted and the head brought up the issue again blaming the employee. He explained that reminding a past mistake would give the other employees a reminder to learn and focus on their work tasks so any mishap would never happen again. Do you think it is right to brought up a past issue and used it as an example during a meeting?
3) What happens to the employee if he/she takes an absent without leave? (AWOL). Will it result to an immediate firing of the employee or will be given a warning for his/her action?
