The syllabus notes multiple opportunities for students to attend and participate in cultural events throughout the quarter. Additional opportunities may be announced in lecture. Students will attend at least one event and write a 2-page critical reflection that links the themes of the talk/performance/activity/film to at least one reading in the course.
