The purpose of this assignment is to offer you the opportunity to identify the main themes of class readings and integrate them with your experience to explain how both affect your thinking and understanding. A reflection paper is your chance to add your thought and analysis to what you have read and experienced. Your reflections should be based on the relevant contents of the article.
Remember that reflection paper is NOT a summary of the class reading(s), but rather a medium to express your own opinion on the major themes in the assigned reading(s).
Guidelines:
- Provide a short of what the article is talking about; this should serve as an introduction. It should be a paragraph long.
- Identify two or three themes in the article (these are usually topical issues or questions the article seeks to answer and the conclusions that the article reached) that you want to express your opinion on. Do you agree or disagree with the conclusion(s) of the article?
- You are free to use outside resources to help you make your point. Remember to cite these outside resources.
