Purpose: Prepare a 9-12 digital slide presentation to demonstrate your understanding of the role of scenic byways to CHT.Project is worth 150 points. There is a sample presentation at the bottom of the guidelines and above the video.

You are to select one national scenic byway from the Federal Highway Administration’s directory https://www.fhwa.dot.gov/bywaysLinks to an external site. then develop presentation.

Slide:Provide its name, which of the six Intrinsic Qualities does it represent, and image of the byway’s way marking sign.Also include your name, course name and semester. (5 points)

Slide: What is the Byway’s significance (provide an overview)? Why is it noteworthy? Provide a map of the byway route.What is its distance?(10 points)

Slides (2-3): Identify five (5) CHT assets along the byway route. Provide names, addresses, web links, description, and picture. Include the pictures, locations, and descriptions of each one. Please identify the Asset Theme(s) for each site.(50 points)

Slide: Identify at least three (3) key communities linked along the byway route. Include a description and appropriate history of each community, current population, and a captioned picture from one of the communities.(30 points)

Slide: Share two (2) Intangible products along the byway. Include the name, location/address, hyperlink, description and picture. Also include the Asset Theme, Intangible experience category, and its position on the Hierarchy of Attractions. (20 points)

Slide: Share two (2) Tangible products along the byway. Include the name, location/address, hyperlink, description and picture. Also include the Asset Theme, Tangible experience category, and its position on the Hierarchy of Attractions. (20 points)

Slide: Something that surprised you. Attraction or site’s name, location/address, hyperlink if applicable, description and photograph. (10 points)

Slide: Answer the Q&A page about Media & Travel and then your decision if you would visit this byway.(5 points)
