Requesting help with writing a paper and Business Plan. The requirements are listed below:

Paper Requirements

The content should address the chapters covered in class. If a particular chapter does not apply to your business, say so (and why) in the paper.

Role of Business

Economic Environment

Global Environment

Financial Markets and System

Legal Environment

Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility

Business Ownership

Entrepreneurship

Management

Motivating Employees

Teamwork and Communication

Managing Processes

Marketing Function

Marketing Mix

Human Resource Management

Accounting and Finance

Using Technology to Manage Business Information

The first section should include the general description of the proposed business:

– Type of business, products/services being sold or offered, location, on-line or brick and mortar location (or both), etc. It’s meant to be a starting point to apply the rest of the chapters (those that fit) in the course to this business. It’s difficult to get this part wrong since it’s your idea (unless you put little to no effort into it). It also may change as we go through the chapters and that is okay.

You could mention things like location, mission statement, vision statement, etc. in your initial thoughts but don’t have to. Location might be important initially but that may change once we get into later chapters. I’m looking for an initial business idea to begin the thought process.

I’m not as worried about format as much as I am content and your grasp of the material relative to a business application.

Here is the general format for the submittal:

– Submitted as a Word document – 12 pitch font, single spacing.

– The first section should include a description of a business you might want to create. The general description should not be more than one page and can be altered later as needed.

– Add additional sections for each chapter of the course as they apply to the company you describe.

– The intent is to apply the concepts of each chapter to a business of your making.

– Grading of the final project submittal is based on the quality of the content of the overall paper. Note that the quality and conciseness of the content is key (meaning concise and effective is good, as if you were making a pitch to investors on this business).

– The intent is for you to think about how you would apply the course content to a possible real-world situation.

Business Plan Requirements

The Final Project submittal is a a draft business plan based on the paper you have been writing during the course. The format for the business plan should follow the Lean Startup Business plan listed on the Small Business Administration’s webpage: https://www.sba.gov/business-guide/plan-your-business/write-your-business-plan

Use 12 pitch font.

The submittal should include the Business Plan and your project paper addressing each chapter covered in the course. As a reminder, be concise and to the point in writing the business plan. It’s intended to provide a potential investor the general idea of the business you describe and why the investor should consider it.

There is not a page limit or length requirement for the paper or business plan. In effect the paper is the preparation for the business plan by causing you to think through those business topics. Concise is better than wordy as long as you adequately express your point. I’m interested in the rationale on the approach you take – the “why”.

The attachment listed has the company introduction I’m planning to use for the paper and business plan.
